Teri Karush Rogers
Founder & Editorial Director of BrickUnderground.com
Teri Karush Rogers is the founder and editorial director of BrickUnderground.com, the online survival guide to finding a New York City apartment and living through the aftermath.

BrickUnderground was born out of her experience as a contributor to The New York Times real estate section, where she wrote more than 60 real-estate section cover stories drawing attention for their provocative exploration of New York City real estate trends and apartment-dweller zeitgeist.

She launched BrickUnderground.com in 2009.  More than 3,000 posts later, the site has become New York City's richest repository of practical real estate advice and firsthand experience, touching on everything from how to find a good real estate agent, to how much to tip the building staff, how to banish bed bugs, and how to survive a co-op board interview.

A recognized authority on New York City real estate and apartment-living issues, she has been called on as an expert source by The New York Times, NBC Nightly News, The Daily News, New York Magazine, Fox 5, NY1 News, and amNY, among others.

Teri holds a law degree and B.A. in journalism from New York University. A recovering serial mover, she has lived since 2003 in an Upper West Side co-op with her husband, their daughter, and their diminutive and not especially dangerous dog, Spike.
